About these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the SunergyX website and to any order you place with us. SunergyX (“we”, “us”) supplies solar power equipment from 18 Sarah Faboyede Street, Bucknor Ejigbo, Lagos, Nigeria. By browsing the site, subscribing to our newsletter or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using the website
You may use this site only for lawful purposes. You must not try to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, copy, scrape or resell our content or product listings without written permission, give false information or use someone else's payment details, or interfere with how the site works. We may restrict access if we believe these Terms are being broken.
Products and pricing
Product images, descriptions and specifications are for guidance and may differ slightly from the item supplied, for example when a manufacturer updates a model. All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). Prices, promotions and availability can change without notice, and promotional prices apply while stock lasts. If we find a pricing or description error after you order, we will contact you before processing the order, and you can accept the corrected details or cancel for a full refund.
Placing an order
To order, add items to your cart, enter your name, email, phone number and delivery location, and pay through Paystack. Your order details are then sent to us on WhatsApp. An order is accepted once we have received your payment and confirmed availability with you. For large orders we recommend confirming availability with us on WhatsApp before you pay. If we cannot supply an item, we will tell you and refund what you paid for it.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Paystack in Naira. We do not see or store your card or bank details. If a payment fails or is declined, no order is created. Any charges made by your bank or by Paystack are your responsibility. Ownership of the goods passes to you only once full payment has been received.
Delivery and pickup
Delivery fees depend on the location you choose at checkout and are added to your total. For heavy or bulky items such as batteries and large inverters the fee may change, and for deliveries to other states we confirm the final fee with you on WhatsApp before dispatch. You can also collect your order free of charge from our store. Delivery times are estimates and depend on your location and stock. Our Shipping Policy has the full details.
Please check your goods on arrival and tell us straight away about any damage or missing items. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please give accurate delivery details: we are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect address or an unreachable phone number, and a repeat delivery attempt may be charged.
Warranty
Most products carry a warranty from the manufacturer or supplier. Warranty length and cover differ by product and brand, so please ask us to confirm the warranty for your exact item before you order. Warranties do not normally cover misuse, incorrect installation or wiring, overloading, power surges, water or physical damage, unauthorised repairs or normal wear. To make a claim, contact us with your order reference and a description of the fault.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible after delivery with your order reference and photos where you can. We will review each case fairly and, where appropriate, repair, replace or refund the item. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method where possible. This does not affect any rights you have under applicable Nigerian consumer law. Our Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds and cancellations work.
Installation, safety and advice
Our Estimation Tool and any advice we give are for guidance only, because real needs depend on your appliances, usage and site. Solar, inverter and battery systems involve electrical risk. Installation and wiring should be done by a qualified technician following the manufacturer's instructions. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by incorrect installation or by using equipment beyond its rated capacity.
Newsletter and communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your email address to send news about products, offers and solar tips. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing info@sunergyx.com.ng or messaging us on WhatsApp. We use your phone number and WhatsApp to confirm and arrange your order.
Your information
We collect the details you give us, such as your name, email, phone number and delivery location, to process orders, arrange delivery, provide support and, if you subscribe, send our newsletter. We share information only with services that need it to fulfil your order, such as Paystack and delivery providers, or where the law requires it. We handle personal data in line with applicable Nigerian data protection law. Your checkout details may also be saved in your own browser to speed up future orders.
Intellectual property
The SunergyX name, logo, design and site content belong to us or our licensors, and product names and brands belong to their owners. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Third-party services
The site relies on third parties such as Paystack for payments and WhatsApp for messaging. We are not responsible for their availability or for their own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or loss of use, arising from your use of the site or our products, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law.
Governing law and complaints
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute we cannot resolve will be subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date shown above, applies to orders placed after it is published.
